This rare and unique honey has been extracted from the blossom of Black Locust Tree (Robinia pseudo-acacia) which is famous for producing a fruity and fragrant honey that is almost transparent in color.

The Black Locust Tree is spread through certain areas in the Ghizer Valley of The Himalayas. It blossoms for only 6 weeks in a year (between April and May) producing white flowers. The black locust does not always produce a crop of honey. Nectar flow is very dependent on local weather conditions and some years the flowers yield little or no nectar at all.
